Stewardship Guidelines
Mission: Pre-Born (MP) belongs to Jesus Christ. MP staff are privileged and honored to be His servants (1 Cor. 3:6-7). MP will exist only as long a God wants it to . If it becomes evident that his purpose for MP is finished, we will close our doors. It is simply a tool at God’s disposal (2 Tim 2:21) for Him to use as—and as long — as He chooses. We will endeavor to adhere to the following guidelines in our stewardship:
- MP is biblically grounded, centered on the Lordship and gospel of Jesus Christ, & spirit led.
- We are under the authority of the local church and encourage our supporters to fulfill their responsibility to their church first.
- MP’s success is not measured by first by numbers served nor funds taken in, but by God’s favor on the work; which we anticipate will be in proportion to the amount of time invested in prayer.
- MP ministers strategically, making it uniquely worth investing in. We do multiplication not addition.
- Full disclosure (walking in the light) is our practice. Investors in the mission have the right to know our leadership, how funds are being used, view our financial statements, and expect the board and staff to prudently use them to God’s glory.
- MP will receipt all gifts promptly and use them for the purpose for which you gave them. All partner information will remain strictly confidential.
- The missionary staff of MP will demonstrate purity, integrity, humility and a genuine concern for those we minister to, including fellow staff.
- We have a clear mission, objectives, strategies and tactics and will be effective in carrying them out.
- We will exalt God and honor His people in presenting funding opportunities.
- We will minimize overhead to direct maximum resources to the mission. We will adhere to standardized accounting practices and our finances will be maintained and reviewed by a CPA.
